I have been seeing Dr. Horning for many years.  He has helped me with many issues regarding my spine and other joints.  This last year (2005) I set out on a major project of trying to qualify for the U. S. Olympic Long Track Speed Skating Trials.

At 49 years old I knew that I could not do it alone.  Every time I had an issue with my alignment Dr. Horning helped me.  He has great hands and is a great listener.  Thanks to him I stayed healthy, qualified for the trials and performed better than ever before!  I am grateful to have Dr. Horning and his staff for their support.

After I was in a car accident, my neck was in such pain that I was miserable; I seemed to constantly roll my head from side to side and back and forth, trying to find a spot where my head felt comfortable sitting on my neck. Several of my colleagues had previously seen Dr. Horning or were currently being treated by him, and because he was so highly recommended, I made an appointment with him to try and get some relief.

I’m quite impressed with the scan Dr. Horning initially performed on my neck and back, prior to any treatment taking place. The scan measures electrical currents of the muscles, spinal skin temperatures and range of movement. The results of this test are printed out, showing the areas most in distress to those in least distress, using color-coding. At intervals in between treatments, a scan is again performed to measure progress, and compared to earlier scans. It has been so accurate—I’m in awe of how precisely this equipment measures just what my neck actually feels!

Earlier in my treatment, if I had to miss an appointment, it was very apparent by the pain I felt; now it’s to the point where I know I’ve missed out on something very beneficial, but I can live with the neck pain I have until my next appointment with Dr. Horning.

Besides always being very on time, Dr. Randy Horning and his staff are completely comfortable to interact with, as well as mindful of your situation. I’ve found appointments not something to be anxious about, but rather a welcome relief that I look forward to. I definitely recommend Absolute Wellness & Rehab!
